Her Holistic Store kind of started as a passion project between mum and I, with one shared goal: to make shopping for genuinely non-toxic products easier for women.
My own interest in low-tox living began through years of cystic acne and gut health struggles, which eventually led me to study Integrative Nutrition and Gut Health.
For Mum, it was her own experience with frequent migraines, alongside years of working with herbal supplements and a background as a nurse aide.
We’ve both seen how powerful food, lifestyle and the small choices we make every day can be in helping us feel our best.
We moved from the States to Australia together over 20 years ago. Since then, we’ve watched natural health become more mainstream, which is so incredible, but we’ve also watched the greenwashing grow with it.
We know how overwhelming it can feel to stand in an aisle scanning labels, trying to work out what’s actually the healthier choice.
So, we decided to simplify it.
HHS is a carefully curated collection of clean beauty and wellness products that we genuinely use, love and feel great about sharing. A store that celebrates women’s health, supports Australian brands and hopefully takes the stress out of shopping.
More than anything, this is a way for us to serve and support other women with what we’ve learnt along the way.
